I was lucky enough to see the Derailers at the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar in Austin Sunday afternoon.It was a great show and Chris Schlotzhauer did an admiral job on steel. I got to meet him and learn how to pronounce his name.
About four songs into the second set, Brian blew a fuse in his twin reverb. The rest of the guys carried on while Brian searched for a replacement fuse. They were ably assisted by legendary guitarist, Casper Rawls, who happened to be in the audience. After about fifteen minutes Brian gave up the search and wrapped the blown fuse in tin foil and screwed it back into his amp. The amp came to life and worked perfectly for the rest of the show. What a trooper! If I had tried something like that my amp would have gone up in flames,
