I just had to opportunity to see the video of Travis doing Waylon's "Lonesome, ornery & mean". I absolutely loved it. Travis now has a devoted fan.
Like the part where Waylon threw him the guitar and walked off.
Oh Yes almost forgot. The steel work in this video is , well can't think of the right words for it but it was great.

Tom, the steel work in the new Travis Tritt video was done by Steve Sturm. The first time I heard the song, I thought the steel work was awesome! Steve is playing a white JCH D-10 in Travis's new video. Brett Day, Emmons S-10, Morrell lapsteel

I don't think playing is the word for his performance. I like to say he was working it real good. Totally blew me away. I am going to buy the video just on that factor.
Being a fan of
Waylon's for years I truely appreciate the way they stayed true to the man and his music.
