Did anyone notice, in the piece that followed, about "Okie From Muskogee," that Norm Hamlet was "The Strangers" Bassist? Man, those people are really on top of things, aren't they?

I didn't hear Norm at all last night. To bad.
The Maverick's sounded great and looked sharp. That's so important.

The guitarist was Lefty Frizzel's guitar player. I listened on the radio on the way to the gig and he did If You've Got the Money (a Lefty tune) but they excluded it from the Opry TV spot. I liked the upright bass and the tunes but they were a little short. I loved Merles hat and coat!

I taped the show and watched it sunday.I fforwarded through all the crap Katie ,Hal ect. Hag still gets the standing o's. They don't seem to mind how long the crap acts take to do their #$@t.Too bad they limit someone who probable kept the audience in their seats for the whole show. First time I heard Hags new song.I wonder if CMT will play the Video?

Well..you might figure that C.M.T. would pick something really good to cut out of the televised section! Guess they don't get to do it anymore. It'll be interresting to see what GAC does with the opry.
