Six String Guitar Forum?

Post by Leon Grizzard »

Are there any forums or sites dealing with regular guitar that you like? Especially real country and swing.

This one: http://www.fretboard.org/bbs/wwwboard.html
is VERY much Chet Atkins oriented... Chet's accompanist Paul Yandell posts on it regularly.
More of a fan forum, but full of historical info, is the Billy Strange one: http://www.billystrangemusic.com/
and click on "Forums" on the left-hand side.
Acoustic Guitar magazine also has one... Gretsch has several, including a specific Duane Eddy forum, on which Duane (sometimes) and his wife (often) both post.
There's also an acoustic flatpicking forum...
Depends what you're looking for.

The Unofficial Martin Steel Guitar Forum.
Steve Stallings, fellow Forumite, masterminded this great thread.

Sorry, don't have the URL readily available.

The six-string sites tend to go more by make of guitar. Guess there're too many six-string players to get them all on one site. Image

My favorite is the G&L site, Guitars by Leo.
