My family and I attended the Friday Night Opry in Nashville. Great night for steel guitar. Mr. Tommy White worked some western swing magic playing with "The Whites". Mr. Johnny Cox was awsome with Connie Smith, put chills on me. The steeler for Jean Shepard was great, as was the steeler for Gene Watson. He hit every lick just right. All the steelers on the show were great.
p.s. Gene Watson did some great country music Friday night. Some of the best live vocals I have ever heard.

Johnny & Dave really highlight Connie & Jean's vocals. They complement their vocalist as well as anyone. Johnny's breaks are breathtaking and when the arrangement calls for Dave to take a steel ride, he really shines! I look forward to hearing them as often as possible. I love to hear Tommy backing Charlie Walker, Jeannie Sealy & Ray Pillow.
