I had the great pleasure of seeing Redd and his band perform at the Continental Club in Austin Saturday afternoon. I had seen him with Haggard and knew he was a great picker, but seeing him do his own show just blew me away. It's incredible what he can do with a Telecaster. Big Jim Murphy was on pedal steel and also did an amazing job. I also got to see Jim the night before with Asleep at the Wheel at the Broken Spoke.

Redd's Saturday afternoon gigs at the Continental Club are a must see for anyone who loves good country music played by the very best musicians on the planet.
