Looking for boombox with short wave

Post by Chris Brooks »

(Sorry if this is off topic, Janice. Move it if appropriate)

I had a couple of Panasonic boom boxes in the Gulf that were Cassette/AM/FM Short wave. These units were about $60 and readily available there, but I can't track one down here. Only devices are the Grundig, Radio Shack, Panasonic combination radios only.

The boxes I had overseas would work on both voltages, but I sold them. Anybody know where I can find one? Yes, I have done a Google-search.

I love short wave radio, so I miss BBC World Service and Radio Netherlands--sniff.)
