Down From The Mountian
Rolling Stone Mag even listed it as one of the must see shows of the summer.

I would love to see that show. That kind of music gives me serious goose-bumps.

Hey David,

I missed that show, bit I played the night before with the Nashville Bluegrass Band. Man, Stewart Duncan is amazing... Plus they had Dan Timinski filling in on banjo.

David,
Ypu might want to invest in the Down from the Mountain on DVD or VHS. It has the whole concert, plus a lot of footage at the front backstage, and so forth. The great John Hartfort is the master of ceremony and it was worth the 19.00 I invested on E-Bay just for his performances. Great stuff.

Neat huh?!

Hi John....

You missed a great one...but what fun you must have had actually playing with the band! Way to go John!!

If there is a breeze at Red Rocks, the voices and music come from the left, then then right, then above you, then they swirl all around, just as clear as if they were next to you. As the breeze settled down, so did the voices and the music.

That and the view of the city.

Still can't get over it.
[This message was edited by David Weaver on 12 August 2002 at 07:53 AM.]
