Nashville this weekend
Aside from the obvious, where can I hear some good music in Nashville this weekend?

Lance Miller is performing from 6 to 10 Friday evening at the Second Fiddle on lower Broadway. Larry Dolan is his steel player. Mike Siler plays Legends on Saturday night 6 to 10 with John Hughey playing steel. Mike Sweeney is at the Nashville Palace and Tommy White is at the Opry and you'd better pray that Smiley Roberts isn't driving! That should be enough to keep you busy for a weekend.
By the way, lower Broadway has a variety of good country acts performing continuously.

Down on Lower Broadway there is always some great pickers to listen to. If you like the Tele' players you may run into Jason Jordan or James Mitchel, They both play many of the clubs including Legends. The music starts at 2:00 in the afternoon, when we were recently there we did see several pretty fine steel players as well. Do go see Mike Sweeney, great band , great player.
