I only watch the TV portion when there are some "real country" acts on.Otherwise I listen to the Opry thru wsmonline.com...the good music comes out after the TV portion.
I'm watching a little of the Opry before heading for the gig. Anyone know what's up with Tommy White playing a Sho-Bud again? I don't think this show is a repeat, is it?
Maybe Tommy is wanting to show everyone, and rightfully so; it's not just a certain brand that makes for a good sound! Ability(talent)plays a huge part! "Big John"

Tommy is cutting a new CD for St. Louis with his Carter which is still set up in the studio so he used one of his Sho~Buds tonight and sounded fantastic as usual.
Mike,
Thank you.
My best,

It was great to hear Tommy, as usual. The Osborne's did a good job, Tim Graves is doing very good work on resonator guitar. The 6:30 segment featuring Jimmy & PeeWee, Connie & Johnny was excellent, great vocals, fantastic steel. Jimmy did one of my favorites " What Will I Do Then".
Stephen,
Yes, Tim Graves is Bobby and Sonny's regular dobro player now. He replaced the late Gene Wooten, another great player, Tim is Uncle Josh Graves nephew. Jason
I'm listening to the Opry broadcast at work. Check out Vince Gill at around 1:48 into the show. I was sure it was John Hughey playing until Vince introduced Tommy White playing the ride. Great job Tommy!
