I often wondered what a resonater
metal-bodied bass would sound like.
In times past, I have done jobs with
a fiddle player, where we walked around malls, and played without electricity.
The wooden-bodied basses just didn't have enough volume or fatness, so we used guitar, fiddle, and four-string banjo.
A banjo bass would have been a nice touch, visually as well as sound-wise.
