Replication and packaging

Hello,
My band, "Lightning Creek" will be recording at the Burns Station Recording studio outside of Nashville the last weekend of this month. My question is, I really need to know about replication and packaging companies that do GREAT work, but for decent pricing. We are starving muscians that have a sound and have recieved a large following in our area of the country. We are very serious about our recording and have logged many hours in a local recording studio. If any of you have recorded in this studio also I would appreciate your take on the Professionalism of the studio also. We are looking for great sound and have really worked hard to accumulate the money for the recording. So we dont want to put out an album of any less standard. Thanks all comments will be greatly accepted and any direction will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Doug,

I'm not familiar with this studio, but I can tell you that mixing and mastering is where you create the 'sound' of your CD. Spend some time to get the instrument sounds right going to tape and you'll be good to go. Brad Sarno recently posted offering his mastering services to Forum members. Click here to go to that thread. He should be able to steer you in the right direction and good luck with the project.

Try calling Kenn Hayes and tell him I sent you. I have been pressing CDs through him over the last 10 years, and have done over 200,000 without a hitch. He has pressed all the Vibrato Records CDs (Emmons, Mike Smith etc), too. His number is 303/752/9288. You are fairly close, so shipping will be less expensive, too.
