Sometime ago, I heard a song on WGUL, Tampa, and the best I could figure, he announced it as "Cheryl Mauana Marie" I can't vouch for the spelling. It was an instrumental on organ similar to Lenny Dee songs. A smooth hawaiian flavor, strictly 1,4,5 chord progression but a pretty tune.
I'll appreciate any help, lyrics if any, and a melody line. Thanks, Al

It's "Cheryl Moana Marie", or sometimes just called "Moana Marie". I remember it from 40 or more years ago, and it was a very popular song. A lot of versions should be available if you do a search on All Music Guide or a CD site such as "CDNOW". All I can recall is...
<i>On the shore there she'll be
standing, waiting just for me,
my sweet Cheryl Moana Marie.
