Live365 is alive and well!

Post by Jim Smith »

I've been really frustrated with the skips and lost connections with SteelRadio.com so have been listening to Live365.com today. I just finished listening to an Emmons tribute of three or four hours of just pure Emmons! Image

I went to the website and began the registration. It seems you have to download their player. One screen states that you need a player (and includes "like WinAmp") but it isn't clear how to use your existing player. I don't really want to download yet another player that might screw with my settings, so I bailed.

Live365.com can be heard using RealPlayer, Windows Media Player and a couple of others that I can't recall right now. You do not have to use their player, although I have d.loaded it and it's no biggie. I was just curious to see it, and I later dumped it. Live365 is pretty great, with such a great variety of music. I listen to it all the time.

Live365's player shows the title, artist, and track length of each song. Do you see that info with other players?
