The Buck Starts Here
I heard a great tune on "Panhandle Country" today called "The Buck Starts Here". It was in a set with a cut from Joe Goldmark's new CD, and I was so excited about Joe's tune that I didn't catch who played on the other one.
Does anyone know who does "The Buck Starts Here"?

It's a typical Brumley steel tone. I heard Tom at a steel show a few years ago and marvelled at his tone. Apparently he drove the sound-man mad trying to get the exact reverb that Tom demands, but they must have found it because Tom's tone was amazing, the best I have ever heard. He was playing a Mullen guitar. By the way, another song with Tom on steel is 'except the new girl' by Chris Isaacs . There are some nice licks on it.
