I like this song, it is by The Coors. Other than the obvious Antares autotune effect, it sounds like 80s Pop, very much like Belinda Carlisle. The problem is, how does it fit on Country radio?

It has a similar approach to current country hits.
You take a genere like folk or country and totally round out any rough edges.
Anything alittle too twangy or rustic is carefully removed or mixed down. You use the same production effects that Mariah Carey has and you have a pleasing mix.
It's the new MOR, prepare to be lulled by polish and buff.

Is that supposed to be the Corrs?

I haven't heard any of their music on country radio around here.

In fact, the only reason I even know the name of the group is that The Wilkinsons used to sing a cover of one of their songs in concert.

As far as I know Mutt Lange (Shania Twains Husband) co wrote the song with one of the Corrs.They are quite popular here but they certainly arent country!
