the timbre is still there, but there seems to be a slight "lilt", accented inflection or something... that must be from hiding out in Ireland since he faked the plane crash...

funny.. from reading his biography "Like a Moth to a Flame" I didn't think he cared much for the UK...
[This message was edited by Dave Van Allen on 25 May 2001 at 10:06 AM.]

Very nice, Baz. Your tone is soooo pretty...and your playing, as always, tasteful. Cheers!

Basilh: I haven't been able to get my player to work but the problem turned out to be the well known McDonalds Effect. Sometimes referred to as instant gratification. For some reason today, I took my time and let it download properly.

What do I think ? I like it !! Especially the Silver haired Daddy Of Mine !! I would certainly be interested in this if it becomes available for sale. It's something I would want to have.

We have another thread going about old time radio and it's odd that all of your selections were songs from that era. I really fell for the Irish Touch. Me Mother's maiden name was Borry so you know, it's in my blood.

Best Regards, Paul
[This message was edited by Paul Graupp on 26 May 2001 at 08:59 AM.]

For the past twenty minutes or so I have played everything in this thread.
It was very enjoyable listening.
Nice work!
