Is RAY PRICE still touring??

Post by John LeMaster »

Ray is scheduled to appear at Silver Springs, Florida this Sunday, April 29. I had read a post that said he had health problems. Has anyone seen a Price show recently? If he is still touring, is Danny Mohammad (sp.) playing steel?

John come down to Catfish Johnny's in Lake Panasoffkee tomorrow afternoon (we start at noon) and we'll do some Ray Price, and probably some Wynn Stewart, etc.

Jack, I sure wish I could be there. Haven't heard much Wynn Stewart material lately - he sure had some great ones. Saw Wynn in the late 60's in Charleston, WV opening for Buck Owens. Wynn sang "It's Such A Pretty World Today" among others, and the crowd loved it. Quite a concert!!

Just yesterday I heard a local radio station play "It's Such a Pretty World Today"..I couldn't believe it after all this time. It was always my favorite of Wynns.

I don't know if you guys know this or not, but one of the new K Mart commercials has Wynn Stewart singing in it.
