Speaking of Gospel -- Randy Travis

Post by David Pennybaker »

Gospel Music was brought up in the Bar Chatter area.

Which got me to thinking, has anybody heard the new gospel album that Randy Travis has put out?

I've read a review, and it seems like maybe a radio station around here played one of the tunes once, but I won't swear to it.

I read a newspaper review, and it was very positive.

Anybody who's heard it, what do you think of it?

I have the CD and it is Randy Travis let me tell you. Not traditional gospel songs but it is traditional sounding. Steel guitar is shared between Sonny and Paul I believe and they do an awesome job. Go get it if you like trad. gospel sounds.
