Vern Gosdin

Went to see Vern Gosdin at the Moose Lodge in New Castle, IN last night. I'll tell you what he still has a great voice but you can really tell that the strokes that he has had have had an effect on him. He had to be helped on and off the stage and even temporarily forgot the second verse to "Chisled In Stone" but still a great show and a wonderful crowd too. Anybody know who his steel player is? He had real good tone and played some real fine licks.

Jim Vest played steel on many of Vern Gosdin's recordings and he is a great player. I don't know who is traveling with Vern though.
