Country Music" and "Music" merge
It seemed a bit strange to have both a "Country Music" forum and a "Music" forum, so I combined them. Janice is still the moderator.
The stated theme is "Musical topics not directly related to steel guitar". This includes discussions about other instruments, recording artists, the record industry, musical history, songwriting, etc. - in other words, anything about music that doesn't fit in the steel guitar topics.

I predict that this new area will be a large success, despite the cynical comment I made about having to choose what is and is not country.
Already I'm seeing intelligent comments from the likes of Bob Hoffnar, Earnest Bovine, b0b, etc etc about MUSIC. I love MUSIC.</SMALL><HR></BLOCKQUOTE>
...I also predicted the demise of the personal computer fad and this summer I got a great buy on 1000 shares of Firestone...I've got some great stock tips, E-mail me!

Ok b0b gave up on Country Music,Just kidding seems somewhat sensible, we can still discuss Country and that other stuff too.
On second thought any new perspective member, viewing the Forum for the first time if he is a Country music lover, might be more inclined to participate in his more comfortable athmosphere.JMHO.
