The Little Girl" tune

John Michael Montgomery has a new tune out that I have only heard one time on our C & W station. The DJ did say it is the most requested song this week , so it is getting a lot of "air play" here in West Tx.

Curious if it is being played in other parts of the country (World) ? Skip

Getting (well-deserved) airplay down here in Houston, too.

This song's got "hit" written all over it.

Ray Jenkins... you need to move up here to Flagstaff. We have KAFF 92.9 FM which plays that new stuff and we have KAFF 930 AM which plays the real country mucic. They have been putting the old stuff on Mini Disk from the records they keep from the good old days and it's like going back to 1970 when you tune them in. I listen to it 90% of the time. They also play the older songs by Allen Jackson, Geo Strait etc.
Now if it wasn't so dang cold up hear in the winter, sometimes summers to, I wouldn't have to be moving to Sun City Grand. But there is two clasic country stations in Phx.

Ray ,
We have an "Oldie Country" station here in Lubbock that plays 90% , 50's - 70's C & W. We get to hear quiet a bit of steel , like it used to be. I asked the station about getting on the internet , but guess that will come in the future. Image Skip

My mistake in the previous post:

I actually heard the song (both times) on 99.5 The Wolf out of Dallas, on my recent trip to Oklahoma (and back).

I haven't heard it down here in Houston yet. But, I've been listening a lot more to CD's recently than to the radio.

Its a great song with a great message.
Tommy played on the album and he said it was very emotional for everyone on the session.

I work afternoon drive here in Lebanon, VA. It has been our most requested song for the last three days. It is a most refreshing sound from all of the driving beats we generally play...Pat

By the way, the song is already #7 in Gavin, #10 in Billboard and has not actually been released to stores until tomorrow. Two of the local favorite FM stations reported it to be the most requested song.
