I saw this site recently put together by Ace Tipton a picker who worked in California through 1960-1978.
Ace has an interesting site up with a page on the great singer Garland Frady who a few Forumites actually played with in the 1970's and 1980's.
Also there's a page of picture links to the 1964 Country Music Jamboree which is pretty interesting to look at.
