Canadian Country Music Reunion Passes

It is with great sadness that I email you at this time to inform you of
the passing of our C.C.M.R. president, Mr. Willis Jarvis. Willis passed
away in his sleep, at 3 a.m. this morning (August 19, 2000), while on
holidays in Waymouth, Nova Scotia. Willis was proud of his association
with the C.C.M.R. and all those who worked on the executive and behind
the scenes for its continued success. Funeral details are not available
at this time but you will be notified as soon as we are aware of the
arrangements. Our sincerest sympathies and prayers are with Shirley and
the family at this time.

Here is the funeral information for Willis Jarvis :

Visitation at Ward's Funeral Home in Brampton. On Main St.(which is
Hwy. 10) just south of Queen St. on the east side (across from Gage
Park).

Times:
Tuesday Aug.22 - 7pm to 9pm
Wednesday Aug.23 - 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm

Funeral is at St. Jerome's Church - Thursday Aug. 24 at 10:30am

Burial at Assumption Cemetery.
