The National Bluegrass Survey in Bluegrass Unlimited magazine listed "Murder On Music Row" by Larry Cordel and Lonesome Standard Time as the no. 1 song this month! It is also the no.1 Bluegrass Album this month! Murder On Music Row is also the album title.

Maybe it's just a coincedence, but the week after "Murder O M R" debuted on a local so-so "country" FM station, they hired a great new DJ/ program director. Since then,
"The Pendulum Has Swung In The Opposite Direction" regarding the former and present balance of crap vs. good Country airplay!
Today was a nice menu of classics, even back to back triple plays featuring Merle Haggard and Vern Gosdin. About 10% Tripe content.
