I passed on backstage.
Jim Ed Brown was nice enough to spare everyone enough time.

Clay Davidson had a decent song but still seems like a cloan.

Technolgy is amazing. Who would think we would know before Brad Paisley about his gold album.

As for Charlie Pride that was a steel fans delight.

By the way TNN has a race as of 9pm so the late rerun may not be telavised.

I sure wish these older artist could
pronounce the new artist name correctly! It's very embarrassing.

I heard Clay Davidson, he can sing and his steel man sounded great!

Last night was the first time since I quit the business I decided not to watch the Opry. I guess I am sort of sick of complaining about firings,un-country entertainers. Maybe a few months away will re-spark my Opry feelings. I do like Jim Ed and have been his backstage guest on several ocasions years back.(after the way I jumped on Fisher I doubt if that will ever happen again)Charley Pride has always poured his best out, healthy or not. Brad paisley is a shot in the arm for Country Music. I hope Jim Heffernan on steel was able to show his talents. However,It was nice to watch a complete movie for a change. "Six Sense"

I thought Jim Ed was ok, tho he called Clay Davidson , CLay Walker but corrected himself. While Clays' song is mostly forgetable, the boy can sing! he is very soulful, much like Travis Tritt.
Charlie did not look very well, and it appeared that his intonation was monitor related.
Brad Paisley is one hot picker!!! The mix during his tune was pretty bad, but Hef did a good job.
