Coltrane- Moment's Notice for C6th

Post by Jerry Gleason »

The discussion over in "Music" of the John Coltrane reissues reminded me that I tabbed out some Coltrane pieces for C6 a few years ago. Here's my arrangement of
"Moment's Notice".

If I were actually playing this, I wouldn't harmonize as many notes as I did here, but
this way, you can get a good sense of where the chords lie for soloing. This is for
standard C6, D on top.

Thanks for posting Jerry! A lot of us really enjoyed the recordings that you shared several years back - any plans on releasing a CD of jazz steel arrangements?

Jerry,

Thanks for the tab...it looks really super. However, I'm not familiar with the tune.

Does anybody out there have an MP3 clip of this tune?

I'd love to have it...and then, learn this great (and athletic) tab.
