I got tab from Don Curtis. I think it was tabbed by Russ Wever. There's a Buddy version available and I believe a lot of other players have done it.

You can get hold of Don Curtis via email through Scotty's website (See links above) or call Don at Scotty's directly. Scotty also has a lot of Russ Wever's instructional "talk" tapes. Some even feature the "Curly Chalker" style of C6th.

Hey Brian,
I play a gig each month where we have a fiddler that plays maiden's prayer. I'd love a copy of the tab if you can send it to me.
Thanks

Maidens Prayer is an Old Bob Wills tune.....I'm pretty sure...
Hag plays it on a couple of his CD's on fiddle..with Jimmy Belden I believe.
I prob have TAB somewhere but I always make a mess when trying to post

Tom Brumley's backup and steel break in the version of "A Maiden's Prayer" on the Buck Owens/Buckaroos Instrumental LP (and CD) is an all time classic.

James,
Could you email me your address and I'll just mail a copy to you and the others that have contacted me. I've had no luck getting it scanned but I can make copies.

My apologies. Since I got back from Miss. and LA., I've been on jury duty. WHAT TIMING! :eek

Thanks,
Bryan

Bryan, I got the email, but the font is so big I can't get it on one screen and therefore, it prints very large on about 10 pages. Any one know how I can make it smaller? Thanks a bunch!!!
