Help! "Somewhere Out There"

Post by Bill Atwood »

I listened to Linda Ronstadt's beautiful duet of this music and thought, why not on the steel. There is a sweet electric guitar break on this recording that I think might even be sweeter on steel. Is anyone playing this music on the steel and is there tab to get me started? All help appreciated

Hello Bill,
I worked this tune up years ago for the E9th tuning. Send me your address and I'll send you the tab that I worked up. You're right; the song makes a great instrumental for the steel guitar.

Since I have much the same taste as brother Chuck, I too fool around with this song, but have never performed it live. I believe I heard Tommy Dodd play it at a show recently; lovely rendition.
[This message was edited by Jim Cohen on 29 August 2002 at 06:52 AM.]
