The "Magic Lick" on E9th pedal steel
Over in Pedal Steel, there is a thread about the so-called 'Magic Lick.' Does anyone have the tab for this on the internet? I have never heard this lick, at least not to recognize it.
Sincerely, Lincoln

Hi, Lincoln
If you go to the thread you referred to you will find information on how to order the course for $20(US). Since it is copyrighted and rights are (presumably) owned by someone many of us know and respect (Weldon Myrick), it wouldn't be right for us to post the tab here. Hope you understand. Believe me, if you're interested in speedpicking and playing over different chord changes, it's well worth the bucks.

Actually it's only $12 from Scotty's Music: click here. cassette tape with tab. I bought the little 45 rpm record 25 years ago and it opened my eyes to the world of speedpicking.

Sorry for the incorrect price (minor brain flatulence)
The tab on the thread isn't really tab. It shows the fretboard positions on the three strings used in the 'magic lick' where notes of the GMajor scale can be found. The course explains how to use a subset of those notes -- but there are lots of others. You can get the gist of the idea, but not the lick itself, from the diagram.
Hope this helps.
