B-pedal problem!

Hello! This pin that is holding my B-pedal in place keeps gradually sliding towards the right the more i use the pedal, and i keep having to push it back in place. It requires quite a bit of force to push it back. The further the pin travels from its intended position the more wobbly the pedal becomes. My last few gigs i have this fear that it will fall out mid-set and render the B-pedal useless.
Does anyone have any experience with this, or any ideas of how i could fix it? I would love a permanent fix. The steel is an MSA Classic.

Do you have a set screw here?

Norm is correct. Ther should be a set screw in the top hole to lock the pedal axel in place.
It will be a #10-32 x 1/4" and can be found at any well stocked ACE hardware.

The screw seemed to be screwed in very tight, but I have now unscrewed it, pushed the pin back in place, and tightened the screw again as hard as i could to see if it will stay. Now I just have to practice for a while to see if it stays in place. I will give you guys an update in a few days!

Hopefully no more issues but... if it loosens again, examine the end of the set screw that contacts the pin. It should be either a cupped end or a pointed one. If the end is worn from rattling around replace it with a new one.
If it's OK and still loosens up, consider some blue re-usable Loctite on the screw threads so the screw doesn't loosen up.
Worst case, last resort, use a drill to make a dimple in the pin for the set screw to sit in.
