Peterson Strobe Tuners

Post by Bob Jennings »

Is the Peterson StroboPlusHD the Best Pedal Steel Guitar Tuner? I looked at their booklet and it lists four different Offsets for the E9th tuning and I am wondering why there are our different Offsets and which one would be the Best.

They have different note offsets. Not all sweetened tunings work on all guitars. When you hook your computer up to your tuner and go to Peterson's website, you will see MANY (it will make your head spin) that other users have contributed. Try some with YOUR guitar and see which you prefer. I use MA9 (from Mickey Adams) or SE9 (from Peterson) on my Carter D10.
Carter D10 8p/7k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup, Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112, Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open G slide
and regular G tuning guitar) .
Playing for 55 years and still counting.
