This chopped 8 string Rick I've been working with had a secret cavity, covered by a homemade metal plate and a layer of felt, where one of the leg sockets of the console used to be.
In it was this note from Scott Gardner, explaining that he made two of these form a double neck. Very cool!
I got the steel a few years back from a friend in Portland Or who got it on CL or similar. The note is dated 2000.
Anyone know this gentleman?
