I saw a Cherokee pedal steel for sale the other day..

Never heard of that brand..

I’m it interested in buying it but I love hearing the history of stuff…

Anyone know anything about them ??

Very nice looking Guitar from the top.
Do you have any pictures of the underbody?
Showing the working parts under the guitar. That is very important to see condition and how the guitar could be set up.

If you put Cherokee pedal steel in a search on google it will bring up a lot of info. Even bring you back to the forum. Lots of information available. Mr. King shows pictures of underneath, Of a Cherokee.

Were built by Claro Daughetyy and Clyde Mattocks in North Carolina from 1967 - 92. About 70 guitars was built.
Used an improved Sho-Bud perm. Pull-Release changer system.
