Call me crazy, but some of it sounds like John Hughey to me. Might be way off. Does anyone know?

Now that you mention it, Ricky, I hear that it sort of sounds like Weldon Myrick. Most of the Weldon stuff I know is super fast. I guess that is why I didn't recognize his playing!

Lloyd Green and Weldon Myrick did swap songs on Moe's album earlier 70's....but this song was on a album All Weldon 1975.

Weldon played on a lot of Moe Bandys records. One of my favorites is “ Soft Lights And Hard Country Music”.

I agree. Weldon was on many hits of that era. I miss that brand of country music.Paul King wrote: 26 May 2025 2:35 pm Weldon played on a lot of Moe Bandys records. One of my favorites is “ Soft Lights And Hard Country Music”.

Moe and Joe "Good ole Boys" with Weldon. My first time hearing the pedal steel with chorus. Got my attention. I think it holds up well still today.

I was thinking about this song when I first read the post. Moe Bandy?
At first, I had the title confused with John Anderson's She Just Started Liking Cheatin' Songs.
Senior moment.

Took a while, cause it's been a while. All good now.
