Oahu Lap Steel

Post by John Kalament »

Need some help identifying my Oahu lap steel for future sale. This Guitar has some beautiful Gold Scrollwork on the front and has a beautiful sunburst finish. I also have the matching Oahu amp that I would sell along with the Guitar. Having some trouble posting pictures but can send some via text or email. Please PM me if anyone can help me to post some photos or text me @ 518-207-6691 Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only Oahu electric steel to have gold decoration was the pre-War version of the Diana, model 263K. There were some acoustics with gold, but they wouldn't have a matching amp.

That's just like the one I'm going to put up for sale. Also have the amp that goes with it but it's not quite as ornate as the one pictured.
Thank you for your posting.

Cool set! Seldom seen amp, especially in that condition. Does it work?

Yes, I even have a Box of Oahu Strings that came with it all in a separate package. Pristine condition as well.
Lots of history there for sure !
Thanks for looking.
