Semi-newbie here in C6. I fell in love with Jerry Byrd's work on Marty Robbins' recording "The Night I Came Ashore" which can be found on YouTube. Jerry's playing is soaring, sorrowful and even mystical. Has anyone here attempted to tab it out? Of course, I am pretty sure Jerry is in C6... Marty sang roughly in D or Eflat, but I simply do not know where to begin! Any suggestions would be most appreciated, or I am willing to pay for someone else's tab if available!

Here's that beautiful song sung by Marty and played by Jerry>

I used to play it in my Hawaiian band "The Island Echoes" back early 2000's...so I already forgot the key...but that
intro and first half of solo are the beautiful Harmonics that Jerry has mastered with the palm and thumb and sometime finger pic
Just beautiful and masterful.

Oh, absolutely! His steel work is so haunting, and it just fascinates me! Thanks for your comment!
