The club is reserved, your place in the line up is reserved, I am NOT reserved. Don"t you be either, get on down to the Ponderosa at Jubitz Truck Stop Portland Oregon from 12:00-4:00 and let's all wish Doug Jones a hardy welcome back to the great NW.

<As much as this is a steel guitar musical event it is ALSO and more importantly a steel players community event, socializing with your old friends, meeting and welcoming new faces, sharing etc. This has been our goal since 1976 and so far it is working.>

Spread the word.

A big thanks to all who attended, there were smiles for miles on the faces of everyone in the building. We had 4 first time attendees, we had 7 players from Washington State and 1 from Canada. It was a long drive for all but no one seemed to regret it I was told.

A great big thanks to Little Miss Patti for all of her “Management” contributions, we all benefit greatly from her involvement, we are a team for sure.

Already looking forward to next year.

As a viewer: It was great to see my friends Doug Jones (give me a shout 503-933-4311), and Robin again. Needless to say, I'm cutting my hands off after watching Doug, Robin, Larry, and a new friend, Trent.

Hi Everbody!

VIDEOS ARE UP!!! Premiere @ 7pm PDT June 2, 2025

It was a great jam! It was great to see everyone and hear the wonderful music. Thanks to Larry and Patty for all for everything they do to make this happen. It's not easy!

Here is the YouTube playlist of the songs I videoed. Shot on a Nikon Z9 in 8K, published at 4k because YouTube is stingy. Best listened to on headphones or home theater system! Enjoy.

Larry, this is the one to post up top!

Thanks James, a job well done once again my friend. As you can tell steel is not dead in Oregon and Washington. We started doing this in 1976 at various locations in both states. Back then Jeff Newman thought we were the only jams west of St Louis. Oh how different it is in a short 50 years. (Hee Hee)

Great videos James, I love the camera angles, so much better than just a head on view! Top Notch and the sound is fine on my Chrome book.

Thanks Larry for putting the event together. I came all the way from Idaho to listen and sell some gear and I had a lot of fun. Thanks again.
