Winnie Winston PSG Exercise Question

Post by Richard Soriano »

Hi all I am doing some picking exercises from page 49 in Winnie Winston PSG bible. See attached.

I wanted feedback back on whether to approach the picking pattern as finger thumb finger thumb finger thumb finger.

Thanks in advance
Ricky

Initially I approached it finger thumb finger thumb finger thumb finger ,

But now I would go finger thumb finger thumb finger thumb thumb.
Like Quentin noted, it is really a personal choice, what you're developing, where you're trying to go.

10 years on I still find invaluable information and challenge in Winston's material. Great stuff!

Agreed. It's a personal choice, based on what feels most comfortable for you.

For what it's worth, I pick it like Daniel laid out. It's all Middle finger alternating with Thumb. And a double-thumb at the end.
