Single coil pickup recommendations

Post by Doug Jones »

In the 45 years I've been a steeler, I've found my best tone and stage sound comes from 18-18.5K Emmons single coil pickups in my LeGrandes. I just got another LeGrande II and am looking for recommendations to replace the BL-710s that came with it. I know there are some newer pickup manufacturers. Again, I'm looking for single coils. Thanks . . . . .

If you can find one, my favorite is still a TrueTone @ about 17.8 to 18.2
