New Amp Suggestions
Morning all, little background. Have 2 steels I enjoy an SX 8 string and a Remington D8, most playing is practice and a jam session once a week. I now use a Fender Acoustasonic 40 and it does ok. If I turn it up, but when I do it makes a bit of noise(rainfall sound). I would like a new amp, 50-60 watts, and stay around $400 or less if possible. I do like Sweetwater to work with so that would be a plus. Just want something that sounds good with my steels, any suggestions? And thanks ahead of time. John

Hey John, if your budget is under $400.00, consider the Fender Champion 40. Light weight, multiple effects, gets plenty loud. I replaced the Chinese speaker with a Jensen, sounds great for rehearsals and low volume gigs. Available from Amazon.
Retired my "Flying Pro III" playin' gigs with the "little bud" in the Northern Shenandoah Valley.
