Question For Eddy Dunlap

Post by Richard Sinkler »

I've been watching some videos of you playing with Kristen Foreman. In a couple of songs, you touch a finger on your right hand to the top of the changer. What are you doing? By the way, great playing.

Thanks.

I was thinking he was muting something, but couldn't figure out what it was. He also did it on another song from that concert.

I first met Eddie when He was I think only 15 years old. He was with his Mother at a steel guitar show in Benton Illinois. He was not playing steel then. His father had just passed away, and Eddie said he was going to start playing steel. Boy did he start playing, and look at him now. Proud to haave met him back then.

I loved those shows in Benton and anything Bobby Reed put together. I remember Eddie at that show and many others at Mt Vernon too. Eddie was a quick study and developed into a monster player.
