Classic Country Music Shows: lots of new/old E. Tubb B.Owens

Post by emil noothout »

This relatively new channel has a lot of classic country music shows with live steel from the sixties and seventies, and is currently adding new videos every few days. For example: already more then twenty Ernest Tubb Shows with Buddy Charleton, and more then thirty Buck Owens Shows with Tom Brumley at this moment. Also complete movies like Road to Nashville and From Nashville with music. Lots of material that wasn't on Youtube before i think.

Who was the steel guitar player?

Post by Tommy Auldridge »

I'm wondering who the steel guitar player was, that was working with Carl Smith on the Del Reeves show. Great C6th. Player. Possibly Jim Murphy? Thanks, Tommy.....

I have a 45 record by Carl, one side is "I love you beacuse" and the other is "Good deal Lucile" Jim really shines on both tunes. For a while I thought it was Chalker, but it turned out it was Jim Murphy. Thanks, Tommy.....
