Show Us Your Pierce-Winchester ?!?!

Post by Dan Kelly »

From the early 1970's (?) No under-carriage shots... YET. I asked for them this afternoon... prolly "pull release."

It is currently up for sale on CraigsList in New Jersey. Here is the link:

This not my listing. I will remove the link on or about the time it no longer works. I posted this information here and not in "For Sale" because of the interest in this little known brand.

I have one. May be a little older than that one. It's a pull release. Here's a thread I started when I first got it. Cool little guitar! Seems like a pretty fair price for that one. Mine was a little cheaper, but was disassembled when I bought it. Fun to play, but no knee levers.

Here's one with 4 pedals. You can see the undercarriage in the photos.

Looks like someone's dream of a steel guitar about 1965. The builder or a buddy worked in a foundry of some type. Made a key head with that would accept rollers, 2 end plates, used conduit for legs, Cut the changer parts out of plate aluminum and built their dream.

I am guilty of that about 1970. I used a Sho-Bud Perm for measurements. Built the Red Neck Blonde.
