Seeking 2 input preamp
Building a B (small) rig. Double instrument- steel and guitar. Any recommendations for a 2-instrument input-2-channel preamp with EQ? Ill add that sound good with both. Reverb a plus.
Been using an Ultra Sound DI max but the eq section is a tone killer.
The RedEye Twin only has a treble control.
What else is out there?

This meets all the items on your wish list except reverb, it's the EBS Stanley Clarke Signature Acoustic Preamp. Two inputs, two channels, each with extensive EQ, and switching to one output for your amp. You can put a reverb pedal in the FX Loop. Made for acoustic bass so the frequency range should be fine for steel. If you get one from a source that will take returns (Sweetwater for example) it's a pretty safe bet.

This may be for you:

I have an older version with 2 channels but only one eq. I've used it live for acoustic guitar and upright bass. The eq is more like a mixing desk than an amp.

Look at the online music stores like Sweetwater, Musicians Friend etc.
Search on 2 channel guitar preamplifiers. There are a bunch of them. The descriptions are pretty good so you should be able to find one that fits your needs starting around $300 new.
Another option is one of the modeling units. Some good rack mount ones from prior years and possibly current issue.

You may want to consider the Boss IR-2 Impulse response pedal. It is a preamp and allows you to setup 2 channels. This pedal is super easy to setup . A clean or Twin channel for one setting then a drive setting and toggle between the two.
You can use it with a power amp or directly into a PA or recording. I use it with guitar and it sounds very nice with pedal steel but currently, I use a Sesh 400 preamp with a Jay Ganz power amp with a Stereo Steel cab with a JBL-K130.
