Great Post Carmen!

I heard that bunch of Bob Wills Old Timers for years! Always Professional Musicians! They had a roster of old members that played in Bobs Band through the years. There were never any musicians except the original bunch that were still alive in those days after the Master Bob Wills passed away. They kept the Tradition going getting booked all over the USA! I knew a fiddler (Frankie Mchorter from Higgins Texas) that played in the original Bob Wills band. Bob hired him after hearing him fiddle back then, Frankie was 16 years old and hired on the spot and toured with the Playboys for many years. Tommy Allsup was a great guitar picker I met through Frankie at a concert they played in the OKlahoma Stockyards back in the 2,000’s. Tommy was a great person as all of the original Playboys all were. Curly on the keyboards was a heck of a musician himself! I wish I could hear them live one more time, but unfortunately they mostly have passed on to join Bob Wills in that great venue way up in the Sky. They were great! Thanks for posting this Carmen on a Friday Night!

Bobby had always played his parts well. Different style, lots of strumming and chords.
