Co Pedent for this Ballad Intro-LJD's "Twice The Fool"

One of the most beautiful I've ever heard on a recording. Also, anyone care to take a crack on who the steeler is on this one?

Thanks Ricky. Interested in your take about Pete Drake's versatility in adapting his playing to singing artist's styles...like he did in the 1960's with Dave Dudley, Webb Pierce, Billy Walker, and Stonewall Jackson to name a few.

Really enjoy the clips of you on you tube too.

Well Gary; that's what I always liked about Pete Drake; nothing real fancy and he always spoke to the dynamic of the feel of the singer's song around every corner. He always helped the listeners to hear/feel what they are hearing; like he was having the same conversation the singer was delivering.
