Tommy White is a steel guitar assassin, just knocks me out with everything he plays. For me, maybe the best ever. Of course none of us would be anywhere with this instrument without Weldon, Buddy, Paul, JayDee, Hal, Lloyd, Curly and so many more. I love playing and learning this instrument more than just about anything.

Kevin, I fully agree with you. I marvel at the mastery of all those great players. Tommy certainly belongs to the ranks of the greatest steel players in history.

Nice job, Kevin! Nice to get a glimpse, too, of where the techno-magic happens at Goodrich.

That's almost identical to my SD10 Emmons - new in 1998; Sapphire Blue (but I had the Emmons S/C pickup and mine was an LG3).

Tommy is clearly at the top of the world of steel guitar! I could listen to him all day and still get surprised at his mastery of the instrument.

Nice Kevin, good stuff. Tommy's playing just knocks me out too. And he can tear up both necks ,country or jazz . WOW .I agree, learning things on pedal steel is about as fun as it gets. Keep up the good work Kevin

Tommy has no speed limit and executes some of the most complex tasty solo's I have ever heard. I wish I could sit down for one day with him and absorb his way of approaching his style of playing.

I agree with everything said about Tommy. His repertoire of licks and runs etc on both necks is almost inexhaustible. No wonder the Big E used to call him Killer. I'm told that Tommy is an incredible 6 string guitar player too. Above all he is a really nice human being with no ego whatsoever. A trait he shares with all of the current top players and those before.

Great job Kevin! I’m honored that you thought enough of my solo to master it.
Ken Byng , thank you for your kind support through the years. It means so much to me.
Roger, same goes for you dear friend. Thank you!
I really appreciate all the kind posts from all of you fellas’.
I’m soon to be 65 and still love the instrument as the first time I saw/ heard pedal steel.
Again, my sincerest thanks to all! 😊

Mike Johnson should be on the list of the great players.
Personally, I think that Mike doesn't get the recognition.

Thank you Tommy once again, geez! Larry you are so right about Mike Johnson, I remember hearing Mike on a TV shown in the Bill Andersons band and he was using an Auto Wah, I was blown away and immediately got one. Since then we have talked and he has my old Franklin. Super player and like Tommy a sweet man. What an amazing community we have.
