What is this tune called?

Post by Landon George »

Hi everyone! I have been watching this clip of Gary Carter over and over. If someone could point me in the direction of this full performance or name this tune, I would be very grateful!

Thank you. :)

Billy Joel song And So It Goes.

Here's another take of it with much better sound.

Jon, THANK YOU! :D This means a lot!

What a lovely arrangement. After researching the song, I've discovered some choral arrangements that are beautiful as well - however, none top Gary's arrangement in my opinion. What a sad song... deep lyrics...

Thanks so much Jon!

That song has a beautiful progression. One of the piano man's finest
Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous; praise is meet for the upright. Give praise to the Lord with the harp, chant unto Him with the ten-stringed psaltery. Sing unto Him a new song, chant well unto Him with jubilation. For the word of the Lord is true, and all His works are in faithfulness. The Lord loveth mercy and judgement; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.
- Psalm 33:1-5

oh ya. Gary Carter's playing is spectacular.
Would be great to hear more of his instrumentals.
I've worn out the pieces he's posted...
