I’d get a bunch of Eddy Arnold cds and George Morgan and listen and try to play along. There’s a music book by Roy Wiggins that may be available on Amazon or EBay. There are several videos of him playing on YouTube. He was an original stylist that was at the top of his game with many students wanting to get his sound.

It's basically just a trill on the top two strings right? I use my thumb and index. Classic example at 2:00 in this clip.
